- kinematics
- complex numbers
- vectors
- circular functions
- graphing (ellipse. hyperbolas etc...)
there is quite a bit of calculus involved in Specialist too

So, I'm assuming geometry is not needed?

So, I'm assuming geometry is not needed?
it is required for graphing ellipse and hyperbolas (I am not sure, however, there can be SACs on Mensuration).

Circle theorems are assumed knowledge, the sine and cosine rule are also really useful, but otherwise you're good.

So in spesh 3/4, do you cover new topics or revise topics taught in 1/2 in more depth?

a little of both. Mostly new stuff, but you'll learn a few things in more depth (like vectors and complex numbers).

From what I've done so far, you learn new:
- Trigonometry (using compund and double angle formulas, reciprocal functions and inverse functions)
- Vectors (ijk vectors, dot-product, paramteric equations)
- Calculus (I haven't covered this in much detail yet, but you learn new rules for integration and differentiation. Also, you learn differential equations)
- Complex Numbers (These aren't too bad)
- Statistics (WARNING: This is nothing like further maths, but it isn't too bad 8) )
Of course, there will be a lot more than this :D
