How about:

SACs = A+ (mid)
exam = A+ (low-mid)

Just remember with English there is a clear distinction between Unit 3 SACs (GA1) and Unit 4 SACs (GA2). Yeah just keep that in mind.

I have a purely hypothetical situation too (made even more hypothetical because I don't know how my SACs will be moderated and I don't even know whether they are low-mid-high...)

Unit 3 A+ high
Unit 4 A+ mid
Exam 9 9 9 (A+).
What would that get you approximately?

Wouldn't that be 45-47? And if those 9's were 10's, it would def be 49-50?

Yeah, if only, if only they could all just be 10s.

but anyways lol that was just a hypothetical (that is, it's not like I'm even sure of getting 9s at this stage; a lot more work to do yet). I know three 8s with 2 A+s will get you into the 41-42 region so I wanted to know what three 9s would do

i've dropped 5 marks this year in SACs, haven't done the second context one yet though. How does that set me up for study score if i go reasonably well in the exam?

what about:

Unit 3: A+ high
Unit 4: A+ high
Exam: hopefully 8-10 for each..

If i do reasonably well in the exam, but not outstanding, would my sac marks be pulled down?
Also what would i be looking at for SS for that^^

What about:

Unit 3- low A
Unit 4- low A
Exam- hopefully, just scrape an A (I mean literally scrape an A, like 0.0000009 marks above the "A" cutoff)

also, my cohort is surprisingly strong.

I averaged C+ for my SAC's, U3 went to A?, U4 went to B+ and I got a C+ for the exam, my study score was a 30! My effort in English stunk compared to my other subjects so I was amazed to get a 30.

hah i guess - but when ppl ask questions like "miss, can we mentally think of our answer during reading time?", ur prone to think otherwise

No, not at all. Kurrymuncher was in this student's class when he said it, the teacher apparently looked really horrified and shocked from what i heard haha

Hahaha may have just been a dumb moment...happens to the best of us I guess. Yeah not surprised the teacher responded that way! She probably questioned her teaching ability for a few seconds there :P

I told my teacher I'll write 'Please give me good marks, I have candy!' on my english exam. But according to her, they probably already have candy in the marking room so she told me to write 'I have cancer!' instead.
