Just wondering if traverse diagrams are part of the old study design, or do we still need to know them?
-
i think they're part of the old. but they're not hard to know, they use the same concepts as normal geometry.
-
Hmm i don't really understand them....like is there are specific way to do them? I find them really confusing.
-
What's a traverse diagram? I don't think it's in Essentials.
-
hmm its like a kind of map where you've got cumulative distances...
-
Ah ok. In that case, I guess it would probably be in the Geometry and Trigonometry module if it was still in the course, right?
-
Yep I reckon so too. The earlier practice exams do have questions on traverse diagrams, but I haven't attempted newer exams yet.
