For the pompeii + herc short answers on the nature of sources and evidence (economy, eruption etc.) and it asks us to use particular sources and "our own knowledge", how many of our own sources/evidence should we be including to acquire full marks?

Depends on the question - For 4-5 markers I would use one other source of my own knowledge. Then for the 10 marker I would use 2-3. Pompeii and Herc are the easy sections so dont worry to much about it. But I would suggest studying floor plans and house structures, as thats what they put in the CSSA trial and screwed everyone over with
