Hey guys!
Attempting to do a source analysis and have came across this symbol on the very top of a WAAC propaganda poster and I would really benefit from knowing what it means!
Thanks in advance :) :)

Hey!
As far as I'm aware, those are the stamps of English monarchs :) Basically it just shows that the propaganda poster has been authorised by the royal family. The first letter accounts for which Monarch it was - eg. G.R is George, V.R is Victoria, W.R is William etc, etc. - and then the R stands for either 'Rex' (male monarch) or 'Regina' (female monarch).
This may not be 100% correct but I'm pretty sure that is what it means :) Hope this helps!
