Hey Guys! Could someone please clearly outline the changes to the study design. I have gone through the VCAA study design and seems like they have swapped Unit 3 and Unit 4. And I am not sure if calorimetry and acid-base is still on the course cause it is not specifically stated in the study design. Thanks :)

Calorimetry is still in the study design. Taken from page 32;
... investigate the principles of calorimetry and its application in determining enthalpy changes for reactions in solution.
Acids and bases appear to still be in there (at least titrations). Taken from page 31
determination of the concentration of an organic compound by volumetric analysis, including the principles of direct acid-base and redox titrations (excluding back titrations).

OOH no more back titrations? I really enjoyed those questions :(

I recently had a chat with my chem teacher, these are a few things I could remember:
-no more acid equilibria questions - questions involving Ka
-Instrumentation techniques moved to Unit 2, presumed knowledge for 3/4
-The 'old unit 4' is now the new unit 3, as you have stated
-Addition of a never before taught topic (i think somewhere in organic chem - stereoisomerism?, I'll have to double check with you cos not 100% sure as of now)
I'd still check these with the new study design though, because they are just from the top of my head
