Solutions to above are not provided. You can find the solutions at here. Note that these exams are compiled from both unit 3 and unit 4 exams, hence solutions will be spread over both units in the previous study design.

That is all from me. I welcome anyone else to upload other exams, especially 2009 commercials (Lisachem, IARTV, Insight, etc)

Please keep this thread chatter free (reserve your 'THANKS' and don't post it). Cheers, enjoy, and good luck

And again, this is all thanks to my year 12 chemistry teacher. Many thanks and gratitude.

Thread unlocked.

Perhaps I've missed it in my haste, but do you have the solutions for the 2007 STAV paper?

I'm a bit confused. I've worked through the ammended VCAA questions, and I've got to mark for instance the 07 exam. But on the examiner's report the questions are not on the paper. I checked them all (going back to 2002) and I can't find these questions!

How do I mark my paper?! :|

Bromophenol blue is a weak acid (represented as BH) that acts as an acid-base indicator. In solution the following equilibirum is established.

;

b)

    ii.       Calculate the ratio when the pH of a solution of bromophenol blue is 7.

Now what? I'm stuck and I feel like a tardddddd, haha.

6.3 * 10 ^ -5 * (BH)= (B-) * 10^-7

6.3 * 10 ^ -5 / 10^-7 = (B-)/(BH)

The amended questions are made up of VCAA Unit 3 as well as Unit 4 exams, as it was different back then. Just look at examiner's report for Unit 3 as well.

I sincerely apologize for the delay in this matter. It has been brought to my attention a while ago that x.wubbles.net has been terminated, and unfortunately I do not have an alternative source. [message me if you are keen to become a provider]

In the meanwhile, here is link to the upload [I would appreciate it if other moderators would consider the time of this in relation to the chemistry exam and realise the significance of the materials included to current students]. This upload include exams and solutions to exams for the previous study design (up to 2007). The solutions to recombined exams can be found here (I have previously uploaded them in this thread).

Once again, apologies for the delayed reaction. And good luck to all taking the unit 4 exam on Thursday.

Cheers,
