Title: Techniques
Post by: scyouknow13 on March 05, 2017, 11:13:45 am
Is it okay if we just include quotes in essays for English or do we have to include techniques? If we quote another author do we have to say their name?

Yes, you have to include their names. Depending on what essay you are doing, different techniques is required. For example a persuasive text response, you will need to include rhetorical questions, facts, repetition etc.

Hey! Techniques are ALWAYS required in an English essay, and as Cranium says you will focus on different things for different text types.

And yep Cranium is right, any quotation of a critic or similar, you need their name!
