Title: Avagadros and faradays
Post by: -273.15 on April 24, 2017, 08:50:30 pm
Hey :)
ive seen questions asking to find Avagadros number based on Faradays number however I'm quite confused on how these relate and how you would answer the question.
Would this even be required for year 12

thanks

Given that the charge one electron is known, and the charge on a mole of electrons is known (Faradays number), you should be able to find the number of electrons in a mole (Avogadro's number), using division.
