Title: Extra questions
Post by: cutiepie30 on June 08, 2017, 09:30:49 pm
How would you go about answering this question?

Mod Edit: Thread split from Q&A, as these are not MM-specific questions, but are asked during an MM class.

That really isn't a VCE question but the answer is obvious if you observe the big backwards L shape starting at the top-right corner and working inwards. You have
ABC_EFGHIJKL
666_666...
ABC_?__

So the answer would be E (so you would circle in D).

Option D represents the answer E that we found. Confusing, I know.

The answer to 17NUM is 60. For every change of one in the right hand number there is a six change in the left hand number. To go from 8 to 4, drop 4 so drop 40 from 120 to 80.
