*Mods are free to take this down and post their own CSSA thread. i just made one because nothing was here*
The m/c was half decent half tricky. Most of short answers were alright, 2 or 3 threw me off completely. For the option section, my school is doing Communication. However, we've only made it to the depth perception dot point for the eyes, so we were given an addendum worth 25 marks assessing a super straightforward area of study totalling about 10-15 dot points. Really lucky!
Overall, the remainder of the exam was pretty fair.
Papers were required to be held until today (Thursday 17th) so we can now chat about the questions and the approaches we took. However, please do not share copies of the exam or anything similar!

Wrote too much for a lot of questions and relaxed too much so I didn't finish like 5 marks and got a couple wrong so I've lost like 8 marks so far plus the marker is extremely harsh. GG below 70

I wrote too much too :-\ mc was pretty good, short answer was ok, some questions were pretty vague though especially the first one! We didn't have to do the option either and our replacement was just like straight dot point questions :) so overall pretty good 😊

Glad it went mostly-okay guys!
Don't start panicking before you get your marks back... I used to always assume I'd failed or performed worse than I had.
Heads up, take a well-deserved little break, and on with the next thing :)
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Yeah once again pretty pissed that I didn't finish so I've lost like 10 marks now. This is bad because this marker is EXTREMELY harsh like the highest for our first trial was 78 and I got 77 even though I finished every question with confidence, so now that I didn't finish rip...

Pikachu, mate, you seem like a smart kid. I'm sure that even if you get harshly marked, you're still bound to top your cohort. Even still, the cssa trials are normally harder than the external exam, so 7X is basically a 99 in your case :)

Yeah our external marker is way over the top but the others in the cohort finished and I didn't. It's okay this exam was 10%. We still have another 20% trial haha (sad life).

It sounds bad, but I wish our school did this. There was just too much pressure on these trial exams (40% for 2u! 30% for bio!)
Spreading them into smaller exams seems better for me.
But again, another round of exams? I dunno

Yeah I'm happy with it mainly because I did decent last exam block (english did good in that) and this exam block I feel like I stuffed up everything but 3u is tomorrow, hoping to redeem myself. Trial 3 gives me another chance to fix my mistakes at least.
