Was just wondering how much calculus is used in physics? Is it hard and what type of calculus questions are asked? And if there is calculus, what unit does it appear in?
Thanks xx

Hey!
If my memory serves me well, I don't recall doing much (if at all) calculus in VCE physics. However, it'd be wise for you to look at the VCAA study design here just to be sure. :)
I do remember having to count squares under graphs though, as Sine said. :)

If you know calculus from methods it can be a tiny bit helpful for one topic in unit 3 but it is definitely not needed & you certainly don't need to do methods to do physics. The maths in VCE physics is not hard
