Hey everyone :)
For the Medea question "Imagery is essential in characterization of Medea as an emotional force.", would it be okay to do each paragraph on imagery+ what it reveals about Medea's emotions?
Thanks!

Wow that's a hard question to write on, but you'd be good if you specify the reasons on why it is "essential", and the imagery used across the play to reveal what types of emotions, or more specifically, the "emotional force" specific literary imagery can bring about etc.

That sounds like a good plan! You could explore the extreme emotions she feels (anger, love) and show how imagery contributes that/her image as a passionate woman, e.g. animalisation for anger, descriptions of her weeping for love. It also might be a good idea to mention that whilst imagery contributes to her characterisation as emotional, it is not the only factor and is not necessarily 'essential' (her actions also play a large part in this) - this way you will have a qualified contention.
Hope this helps!
