Hello, I'm having trouble answering this question:
At a point on the equator the Earth's magnetic field strength is approximately 4x10^-5 T in a north-south direction. A wire with mass 2.0 g.m^-1 is suspended horizontally and carries a current of 10A towards the west. What tension will there be in the threads that support the wire if each thread is 50cm from the next?
Answer: 1.9 x 10^-2
