How do u see if the transformation is a better fit? r or r^2?
Textbook says r but some other sources say r^2...

our text book says r^2

r^2...and you could always plot a residual plot, and check if it has less curvature, and a more random distribution of points both above and below =]

r and r^2 are related

higher r = higher r^2 = better fit
