Title: Help?
Post by: VVVCCCEEE on July 29, 2018, 02:45:40 pm
Would someone please explain to me how you got d or e and so on. I don't get how you find t.

Also, could someone explain to me how to determine the angles in q3?
Thanks

- Draw the unit circle out
(0 (and/or equivalently) 2pi on the right, pi/2 on the top, pi on the right,  3pi/2 on the bottom)
-  for a) 27pi = 26pi + 1pi
- 26pi means going around the unit circle 13 times, you end up back at the 0/2pi/4pi/6pi etc position
- by adding the leftover pi, we get to the left of the unit circle
- sin(pi)= 0 and cos(pi)=-1
For e) 11pi/2 = 8pi/2 + 3pi/2 = 2 full rotations around the circle + 3pi/2

Hope this helps :)
