Title: Exam module scaling
Post by: Lear on August 02, 2018, 10:30:33 pm
For the further maths exam, are the modules scaled at all?
For example, say the average Networks score was 70% while the average for Linear was 90%, would the networks scores be scaled in order to be comparable to linear? Or are they left raw?

I'm quite sure this isn't the case as a few good schools taking the same modules would unfairly skew the data. The different modules are written to a very similar difficulty to ensure no one is disadvantaged though so you shouldn't worry about the modules you won't be doing.
Good luck in your exams :)

At meetings with the examiners, we were told that there is no moderation for modules.
