I have english paper one tomorrow... :o
I'm extremelyyyyyyy nervous and I'm not sure what I should be doing in preparation! I've completed a full timed practice exam yesterday and I plan on doing another one today, and maybe a third at night? I also want to study for paper 2, is that a good idea on the night before my paper 1 exam?
Omg I can't wait to get these english exams over and done with.....anyone else feel this nervous?

I wouldn't recommend studying the night before an exam. You're going to be stressed, so you might not learn as well. You're just going to be using up much-needed energy.
The best thing to do is get rest. Have a lot to eat, relax, drinks heaps of water, and have a big sleep. Preparing your body for tomorrow will do you a world more of good than trying to cram for another mark or two but then burning yourself out before the exam starts.
Best of luck :)

I always recommend that the night before an exam you focus on your health and mindset. Getting an early nights sleep is probably going to be much more beneficial to you than doing another practice paper. Focus on hydration, eating nutritious food, and doing some exercise (can help with stress and sleep).
I was super stressed about my English language exam and found it hard to follow my own advice, but in the end I knew that even if I didn't get the score I wanted I could still have my ideal career in the end.
Do something to distract yourself if needed, you've got permission from us at AN to take it easy and invest in your health, which will help you be your best self on exam day.
You'll be ok - you've just got to give yourself permission to believe in yourself

your article says to "be relaxed, do what you would on any other night".
what if what you do any other night is play games and just do nothing until 11pm?

Really depends on the individual - personally in highschool I wouldn't really cover anything on the day before/day of the exam the most I would do is to just flick through the content. It's more important to be mentally prepared for the exam rather than exhausting yourself with another practice exam.
Although I've seen a few students do practice exams in the morning of the exam/night before which is good for the confidence if you are able to ace it but if not you'd be going into the exam a little unsure.
Everything above is assuming you are prepared for the exam If you aren't prepared for the exam you'd obviously just cram and study the day before/day of the exam.
