For the case study essays, I have always structured my essays by the four contemporary issues. However, my teacher hasn't been a huge fan of this and says that I need to have more paragraphs which are shorter. She hasn't specified what additional topics need to be addressed in the other paragraphs though! Is there a way I can still structure it by contemporary issues but have more paragraphs which are shorter?

Hey! Four paragraphs sounds like plenty to me tbh, not sure if that's just me or not! Has she given you any other criticism besides just the paragraphs, because that doesn't really sound like a proper area for improvement to me? I'd be chasing her for exactly what you are missing ;D

I agree with Jamon! My teacher always told us to find our own style - if we wanted 4 big ones, we could, if we wanted more smaller ones, we could do that too, as long as we wrote well and included everything we needed to!
I set out my paragraphs like you and ended up with a 92 overall so would definitely see what your teacher meant by that
