Title: What is the process for an external transfer to UoM?
Post by: Confusedprincess on August 31, 2018, 06:19:18 pm
Hello, sorry if this is a dumb question but I’ve been struggling to find information online as to how I do this.

I’m a first year arts student at Monash, in my second semester. Next year I would like to transfer to arts at Melbourne.

For semester 1 I had a WAM of 81, though I have an ATAR of only 77.10.

When and how would I submit an application to transfer?

Simple google search... apply through vtac again... though I would note that as you progress through uni atar is less important and they base it more on your most recent results (heard from others though)... nice wam! You obviously worked hard in first sem... plus you should apply for course credit (advanced standing) so you can enter into second year if possible =)

I'd have a go at emailing someone at melbourne or monash to iron out procedure...

Stop 1 is the one stop shop for queries melbourne related which I believe you can submit one as a prospective student...

Good luck!
