Hey everyone, for the HSC I am studying the Julio-Claudians. In my textbook it says that Tiberius transferred the election of the magistrates from the popular assemblies to the Senate.
Whereas, on another page of the textbook it states that Tiberius transferred the election of the magistrates from the people's assembly to the Senate.
Does this mean that the popular assemblies and the people's assembly is the same thing? I thought that the people's assembly was the Comitia?
Does anyone know the answer to this?
