Hey guys,
In a language analysis piece, how many persuasive techniques do you talk about in one paragraph? Is one enough?
If we should write roughly about 800 words for language analysis piece, then is it enough for us to talk about one persuasive technique in each paragraph?

Hi almostdonewithschooling,
My main advice would be to try and centre your paragraphs on what the author is doing instead of reaching a certain number of techniques. Remember it's called an argument analysis (they changed the name with the new study design) - that is, you're expected to demonstrate an understanding of what arguments the author is making and how they're doing it. That being said, you can't talk about any of this without mentioning any techniques (well you can, you'll just waffle a lot). So my general advice is that you probably need to include at least 2-3 techniques, but they shouldn't be the main focus of your paragraph.
