Hello,
In burning a substance (i.e. a peanut) below a test tube with a known mass of water, given that the temperature change is also known, I calculated q=mcT. Can this energy, q, be used as E to calculate the calibration factor? That is, does CF=q/T? If so, does this mean that CF=mc, as the temperature changes cancel?
Thanks
