Just curious as I am struggling quite a bit in the subject.
Hey helpmeplz123! :D
I have heard that Physics has changed by focussing more on the mathematics (formulas and derivation), and I think there were lots more formulas implemented. Ideas about phenomenons and why certain things happen also increased. For Example; Understanding why the Doppler Effect occurs and how this relates to the everyday world around us.
Depth Studies were also a new component of both the new Prelim and HSC parts of the syllabus. Inquiry questions were implemented to provide a focus for teaching and learning. Also, there is less of a focus on the history behind laws, concepts and formulas.
There was also new content put into place (Seen on the link below).
Whether or not it is difficult is up to the individual taking the subject! :)

Exactly what coolmate said. I personally would find the New syllabus much easier because the old one required you to write pointless essays.

I agree with that too. The new syllabus has less essay writing and more formulas, which can be interesting and fun!
