Attached to this post is a totally original, totally new, and totally up-to-date FREE practice exam for VCE Chemistry Units 3&4.

Hey can I clarify a few questions from the MCQ

Wouldn't Q1 be B because an increase in temperature results in an increase of reaction for both forwards and back reaction as all particles have greater kinetic energy


For Q12, I picked D because it was the food with the highest proportion of amylose which seemed like a reasonable justification for having the lowest GI value, can someone please explain why this is wrong

Yes I'm pretty sure vcaa has it down this way, I had the same answer.

B has both the lowest amylose and amylopectin resulting in the lowest total glucose intake and ultimately a lower GI. I regard amylose as the same as amylopectin in terms of glucose content where amylose is just harder to break down resulting in a shallower, more spread out release.
