What happens if I do different modules in exam 2 than the ones I did in exam 1?
Like if I did Core, Trig, Graphs, Matrices for Exam 1 and in Exam 2 I did Core, Business, Networks, Matrices, for example.
Yes I learnt all the modules...
-
all i can say is wow.
-
i looked over my shoulder yesterday in the exam to see one of the girls from my class doing Networks and thought to myself ''pretty sure we haven't studied this'.
-
I'm doing business and i haven't studied from it and from answers that were posted yesterday and testing other results i got 9/9 for the module. I averaged 67% for sacs, so if a module isn't working for you it's never too late to change it.
Good luck and if you need any help with business feel free to message me.
-
What I am asking is, what if I chose a different module in exam 2 than the ones that I did in exam 1?
Wouldn't that screw the system? Cause they will see for the first exam I did "blah blah blah" and second exam they will see totally different ones.
-
theres nothing that says you can't the system just generates a mark for exam one. and exam 2 is hand marked anyway.
cheers
-
Actually thinking about it, a little back some kids asked our teacher this and she was a bit skeptical about it. she didn't know if it would somehow effect the sac marks as they are on different modules.

Do you people even know what I am talking about?
I am talking about CHANGING your TOPICS between the two exams.
SO IF I DID ONE TRIG IN EXAM ONE AND THEN DIDN'T DO TRIG IN EXAM TWO, I AM ASKING WHAT WOULD HAPPEN!
-
NOTHING
-
Gee, sorry for my input

It's fine, it's actually a pretty common thing to do

THANK YOU!

None of you were addressing my question and were giving me irrelevant answers.

Really? I asked my teacher and she said it is very unusual.

I asked a methods teacher, who knows about further
she said tehres no reason why u cannot. Remember, the examiners only know you by number....not which school u go to
-
Yes, but they can see which modules you did in exam 1, and which you did by exam 2.

true....but that part of my reply is irrelevant, it still stands my maths coordindinator said you can, I'd like to see VCAA take 1/4 of my exam marks away otherwise.
-
There was no-where to choose what modules you were going to answer, but it also didn't say anything about having to do the same modules as exam 1.
-
lets say, what if someone perhaps, did more than 3 module would they get extra marks? ofcourse i didn't, but i was just curious

they wouldnt get extra
but i wondered that too. Wonder if exmaienrs give u the marks for the module u got the most points in.
-
The examinors mark the first 3 modules you complete then leave the rest.
I was considering doing 4 and seeing what they'd do but i spoke to the chief accessor.
Cheers

This is correct. So if you incompletely filled in module 1,2 or 3 and then moved on to fully complete another 3 modules, I'd be getting my ass over to the VCAA building, and begging them to mark the correct modules. The examiners mark the first three modules that have been answered. They get paid a lame $5 a paper. They're not going to spend more time marking it than they have to.

$5 is HEAPS MAN, it doesn't take an hour to mark a paper, and work at any job, they tend to pay $20-25 an hour. Each paper= 15 minutes max lets assume,= $2000 an hour lol. (there is something wrong in this calculation, or your statement that they get paid $5 an hour. =S )

If it makes the OP feel better, I switched modules and if I get a study score of "Phayl", then that will answer your question.

huh? are your calculations right?
If they get paid $5 per paper, and you're saying it takes them 15 minutes per paper, isn't that $20 an hour? Not $2000? ???

^^LMAO, I KNEW IT! LOL. What I did is...
60 (minutes)/ 0.15 (minutes)= 400
=400*5
I for some reason did 0.15 instead of 15
Thanks!!!
