hey guys
what do u think the chances are of getting a derived score if you have something like really bad conjunctivitus on the day...
fml i always get sick around exam time lucky im in year 11 and only have one 3/4 :)
thanks heaps i am starting to stress now :-\

Hey there,
If it's affecting your vision, I would definitely go and get a doctor's certificate for the illness. With that being said, however, I would still advise you to SIT THE EXAMINATION - because no matter how badly you do in the examination, the derived score is always a conservative score, so you have a better shot getting a better mark if you sit the exam, and then applied for a derived score afterwards just in case!

yeah i think i might do that lol my eyes are burning!! haha but fingers crossed the eye drops will clear it up by the exam!!!

Hope it gets better! But if it burns still by this afternoon, I'd probably go to the Doctor's :)
