Title: MODULUS function Question about X - axes intercepts - Are they inclusive in DOM?

Hello,

When doing a modulus function, and it asks you for the range of the function - well, we know that everything that is negative is reflected to the positive side of the X axes, but when it asks for the range of such functions, do we label them as :

 (0,a) or [0,a) where a represents the highest point of the mod - we're not interested in that.

From my knowledge it is written as 0 inclusive, but I hear that it might be 0 non-inclusive?

Also, in the attached image below - when writing the domain, are the points where it is reflected in the x axes (sharp corners) also considered part of the domain, or must they be given in form
DOM: R/{-2,2} for the example in the picture below
 (image the points where it reflected were -2, 2)

R\{-2,2} is the domain of the derivative function
The domain in that case is all real numbers.
