I really need help with question 7 on the image attached below. My SAC is coming up soon and I'm stumped by this question, I do not understand how you find the induced current's direction in a rod that is moving into a magnetic field perpendicular to the velocity. I thought it was only possible to determine the current's direction if the magnetic flux changes in a closed circuit...?
