Title: Effectiveness and Design elements
Post by: codykm on November 09, 2009, 11:25:52 pm
So I was going over the '08 IT:A exam and i came across this question:

Those 'design elements' reminded me of what some people classify effectiveness as.. could I call effectiveness; the proper use of design elements?

In other words, can i associate effectiveness with design elements?

Cheers,
Cody

Interesting point. I would say yes, for the most part.

Remember that effectiveness is how well the solution solves the original problem. It may adhere to those design elements, but it might not solve the original problem at all and therefore not be effective.

Great pick up though - I'd definitely be memorising those dot points.

thanks :D

I was having a bit of trouble memorizing both, but this has made it a bit easier :)

But yeah, always relate back to the question eh? :D
