Title: commericial cells...do we need to know them???

from the past vcca exams, i've seen a few q's regarding Aluminium and its half equations ect (2006 Q6)

do we need to know them???

From what I've heard, no. However, you might be given one half equation and the full equation and you have to deduce the other half equation etc.

As far as I am aware, in the new study design we are not required to memorise them. We should get given the information needed to write equations etc.
