Title: variance
Post by: olly_s15 on November 19, 2009, 06:52:53 pm
If F varies with the square root of q then:
a) what is the affect on F if q is increased by 10%?
b) what is the affect on F if q is decreased by a third?
c) what change in q is required for a 50% increase in F?

never really learned this stuff so just want to make sure im doing it right

probably something along the lines:

if so then:

let

Hence F has increased by percent.

and yeah similair strategy for the next.
