Is it possible to enrol in the UoM summer semester before you've been given an academic offer?
I only ask because the class I was thinking of begins Jan 4 - obviously I won't be offered a place at that time. However, the course description says it is available to first year students, so there must be a way in somehow. Alternatively, couuld this possibly mean the summer semester at the _end_ of 1st yr?
Weird question, I know. But if anyone knows about this, I'd be grateful.

Summer semesters at UoM are only available to currently enrolled students.
Therefore, only those in their second year and beyond in their courses are allowed to do summer semester.

Yeah, that makes more sense. Perhaps the "available at 1st year" thing is an error.

Students who have completed their first 2 semesters and are going on to Summer semester are still considered first year students

^ Ahhh I see. Thanks.

There is also a mid-year intake to some (all?) courses.

Is there some way I can see ALL subjects offered in summer semester?

True true. So those who entered Melb Uni via mid year intake would still be considered as first year students in summer semester :D
