i need help on this question, i keep getting it wrong.

and also how do we find the inverse of matrices using the cas 89?

the book teaches a diff calculator

Post by: plato on December 21, 2009, 12:09:24 am: Question a) seems a little confusing but I think it means to find the matrix that is the sum of the four original matrices. I get the following answer for what I think question a) is asking.

$\left[ \begin{array}{cc} 37 & 19\\ 25 & 30\\ 28 & 40\\ 30 & 38\\ 30 & 41\\ 20 & 24\\ 28 & 37\\ 30 & 13\\ \end{array} \right]$

The matrix $\left[ \begin{array}{cc} 6\\1\\\end{array} \right]$ does not seem to get used until question b)

Type in the matrix using the square brackets in Home. Then after that, type in "^-1", ie. "carat negative one".

Also, this is assuming you know how to type in matrices in Home.
