Question a) seems a little confusing but I think it means to find the matrix that is the sum of the four original matrices. I get the following answer for what I think question a) is asking.

The matrix does not seem to get used until question b)

Type in the matrix using the square brackets in Home.  Then after that, type in "^-1", ie. "carat negative one".

Also, this is assuming you know how to type in matrices in Home.
