Title: Lenience with marking

Do they always give lenience in physics answers since they don't have significant figure guide like chemistry and in your working out you don't know how many decimal places to take it as?

So, you could write 16.01 when the answer says 16.04 or even 17.01 right? Would the examiners take this as correct?

its usually to the one decimal for ur answer unless stated otherwise. the amount of sig figs u use for ur working out shouldnt matter. not 100% sure though.

It shouldn't matter if it's close - within +- 0.2 seems to be OK, although I'm not sure what the official policy is though. It's more lenient when you're counting squares though.

It is annoying to store on calculators.

NO, I think it's best to make sure your numbers are as accurate as possible for the working out, so that no accuracy discrepancies occur
