Title: Grade Q.
Post by: simpak on June 05, 2010, 03:58:50 pm
Q: (Because I am too impatient to wait for results and all).
What does a H1+ correlate to?

I didn't think that was a grade.
Until I received one.

101! ... no idea, but going off the scale would be awesome.

oh sorry I missed the '+', lol. I guess you're off the scale then! Would it still be recorded as a H1 though? Perhaps your tutor was indicating that it was on the higher/better side of the grade range :S

I heard a '+' always indicated you were at the higher end of the range, so perhaps a 90+? Because my democracy tutor said that he'd put a '-' or a '+' at the end of our grade to indicate whether we were towards the higher or lower end :D

That would make sense!  So the + is really dependent on the cohort. :) Thanks guys.
