???

Umm...depends on what exam you do but not really =(
-
There will definitely a few trick questiions - especially ones where you can't simply chuck in your calc.
-
dunno, going thru checkpoints they seem alright.
-
???
so i'm not the only one?
*sigh of relief*

Some just require heaps of working. That is soo annoying for only 1 mark.
They're just a different style of question, with their own unique array of stumbling blocks.
However, once you do enough they are simply handled in 'cruise control' -- as is the majority of VCE maths.

Well said, but be that as it may, I still find they can be difficult. I prefer to ignore them as much as possible and maximise marks in the written part.

Oh, they certainly can be difficult; I was never disputing that.
Though the majority are easily mastered, as I'm sure you can confirm.
And, yes, I agree that they should be the least of your worries due to their small weighting.
-
I've done about 2 exam 2's. I can't really confirm as of yet :P
-
Actualy I think I lose most of my marks on multiple choice 0.o

Do the spesh checkpoints MC, there's a good 329 questions to practice on. The majority of them are easy, with a few exceptions. Should get you used to the style in which VCAA phrases them and the common tricks pretty quickly
