Also question 5 of light and Matter isnt the path difference meant to be 3 lamba?
that is correct, as the first maxima has a path difference of 0.

Thanks
Anyone could help me with my frist question?

its basically like with a compus needle, that is aligned due to the earths magnetic field i.e the force will be in the direction of the net field direction, at least thats how i interpreted it. But to be honest i doubt a quesiton like this will be on VCAA.
