Title: Geometry Questions 2009 VCAA exam 2

Question 3

a) 360/5 = 75*

b) show that, correct to two decimal places the length OP is 25.52cm.

we are only give length of PQ = 30 cm and the angle in a) 75*

how to do this question???
they used the sine rule 30/sin75* = x/sin54*


how did they get 54*???

(180 - 72)/2 = 54, you can assume the triangle is isosceles with angles OPQ and OQP equalling each other

1/2 x 30x25.25 >> incorrect?
