Title: How to plan a response to a 3 or more mark question?
Post by: coolhat on November 03, 2010, 12:54:52 pm
I know VCAA says each mark means one point, but should I start off defining, then linking, or how?
For instance in the mid-year 4 mark question, how would you approach that?

it depends on the question:
sometimes they want a definition with 3 or more key words included
sometimes they want the name then the definition then a relevant example

Easy.

Basically it works like this. The score determines the amount of points you need to include in your answer. So, if it's a 3 mark question, you'd have to have three points. Now these points could be anything from the definition, to an explanation of the theory to an explanation of how the theory relates to your scenario.
