So, there's been a question in the back of my mind. I did a 10 mark question before the English exam re: Maslow's vs. Locke's theory, and was just wondering as to whether or not a comparison is easy? I struggled on it because, quite obviously, I'm not sure how to compare it because it's very, very different. It was a question similar to:
Compare and contrast Maslow's motivational theory to Locke's motivational theory. In your answer, define each of these theories.
How would YOU go about it?
I think you, avO in advance for your answer. :P
And another question: has anyone got some suggestions on what organisations I can use for Kotter's theory (the 10 marker for this year) and where I can get resources relating directly to the change they underwent.

1) Ten marker on motivation 99% won't happen, but I'll humor you.
- Define motivation.
- Introduce why its important (productivity gains etc.)
- Introduce the three theories with their definitions.
- Start by saying all three aim to improve motivation.
- Maslow/Herz - They both have hierarchies, they both state that motivation comes from more intrinsic things etc.
- Maslow/Locke - Self actualisation = goals kinda. difference is that maslow's is with achieving it more than locke who is about setting it as a target arararra.
2) http://vcenotes.com/forum/index.php/topic,33690.0.html there are two examples there.
Really depends on your topic.
