It may come down to what is provided by Simple Machines, but sometimes I can't help but wonder what I send when I receive a message, and as far as I know there isn't a way to see sent messages.
Sorry if it already exists, but if there was a way that it good be added in it would be great!

Hmmm... My 'outbox' is always empty (is the 'outbox' where those messages are supposed to be stored?) even though I have sent ~10 PMs

Mine's all there. The problem is that you probably don't have the 'Save a copy in my outbox' checkbox ticked when you send a PM. It's at the bottom of each PM you send.

Is it possible to make it automatic? I forget to tick that box 99% of the time

Profile > PM Options > Save a copy of each Personal Message in my outbox by default.

THIS. it should be the other way around, automatically saved but also a tick box for not wanting it saved. :)

That's strange. Mine's automatically ticked all the time o.O
