How was it and do you think it was worth it? How were the notes and stuff, I plan to go on the 17th, but I wanted some feedback first.
Did they go through everything briefly?
-
Are they fnished now? i thought they went for a bit longer.
Anywho, is it too late to sign up for the lecture on the 17th ?

hopefully it isnt too late to sign up.,
I think it ends in an hour or two, just made it for those people who decided to walk out or had to leave earlier

I've been told TSFX was better, so I went there instead and it was pretty good. I've heard NEAP is not as good.

oh, how long was it, and did they go over the entire unit 3 course?
I've already got those thick booklets, so do you think it's the actual lecture that was good or the materials provided?

It was over 3 days 9.30 -12.30 at Melb Uni with 2 different lecturers. They went over nearly all of AOS2 and most of AOS1 (including NMR, coulorometry, titrations (redox/acid-base), back titrations, infra Red spectroscopy). Went through questions also.
Pretty good actually

One of my friends are going to the TSFX Chem (repeat), and i'm going to the Neap one of the 17th, so back at school we can swap notes :P
I didn't want to go to TSFX because it was over 3 days and a bit of a hassle... Neap's only over one day - get it over and done with. Of course, that may also mean getting a headache halfway through and not really concentrating after that...
-
Did anyone go to NEAP lecture??? I thought a few ppl were going to the one on the earlier date.

neap would never betray me in such a way.

Closing Date
The closing date for enrolments is
5 business days before the lecture.
Late enrolments will only be accepted if
places are available.
:)
i might try tsfx chem..MM i've been to lots of lectures last year for tsfx i always felt crap when they go over an hour with no breaks. Neap gives you 15minutes and they change lecturers for the different AOS so it wasn't all drainy!

NEAP has more direct problem solving, whilst TSFX does more theory dump.

From what I have heard from ex-Neap go-ers, that sounds pretty much right... Personally, I prefer learning the theory first before learning the tools for solving.

only if you can do theory and problem solving simultaneously that would be just great..
tsfx makes me claustrophobic.. i liked the lecture room i was sitting in at neap lol.
