Having a mind blank I know these questions aren't too complicated but i need help please :
√8-2√3 * √8+2√3 (there should be a continuing line from the square root sign before each 8 so its a surd within a surd)
(3/√5 - 3) - (2√5/√5 + 3 )
cheers

√8-2√3 * √8+2√3
=root( (8-2√3)*(8+2√3) )
=root( 64-4*3) <--DOPS
=root(64-12)
=root(52)
=2root(13)
(I may not have understood your question... :/)
Edit: oh missed the second question
(3/√5 - 3) - (2√5/√5 + 3 ) <----what kind of question has 2√5/√5? isn't that just 2?
=3/√5 - 3 - 2 - 3
=(3root5)/5 - 8

Thanks Pixon for the help
For question 2 its (3/(root 5 minus 3)) - (two root five/(root 5 plus 3))
-

 - 2\sqrt{5}(\sqrt{5}-3)}{5 - 9} )

thanks
