Lectures go for 2 hours but when I set my units timetable, the lecture frame only extends for 1.30 hours?
weird :o ? Is this happening to anyone else? :-\
I don't think it matters much but yeah just wondering.

MUTTS isn't 100% accurate. It's Allocate+ you should take as correct, if there's a discrepancy.
-
I thought so, thanks fyrefly
Also can someone explain this ETX1100 tutorial setting.
20-P1 14:00 Thu 60 minutes 17/3-21/4, 5/5-12/5 25%
20-P2 14:00 Thu 60 minutes 3/3-10/3, 19/5-26/5 0%
How can both parts be on at the same time? And I don't understand the dates @_@
-
Dates are different... weeks 2, 3, 12 and 13 are the second part.
Weeks 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 are the first part.
(Mid-semester break must be 25th April - 1st May, judging from those dates.)
The difference is probably the tutor, or the tute's location (difference classroom, maybe).

Sorry to intrude on the OP's thread, but can someone give me a run down on how to use MUTTS? I just arrived back in Australia (thank God), and I'm a bit lost with the system. I understand its purpose, but get stuck/confused when the timetable shows up and I have to select the appropriate lectures/tutorials. Guidance is needed :) I'm doing Comm/Law if that helps at all.

I assume you have already done your Allocate+ right? :)

Sorry I'm still a bit lost :( So part 1 has more sessions than part 2?

do we need to use MUTTS if we have already used allocate+
-
MUTTS only allows us to see our timetable visually.
Allocate+ is the process to get our timetable basically. So you can play around with the MUTTS

Uh... you do both parts... that's what I was explaining... treat it like a normal tute that's held every week at Thursday 2pm. The only difference will be that on some dates it will probably be either: held in a different classroom to normal, or have a different tutor to normal. I can't tell if it's the classroom or tutor thing, based only on the information you've given me.

do we need to use MUTTS if we have already used allocate+
No.
Hey Fyrefly, picking our timetable is just putting in preferences right? MUTTS is just something to help us yeah?
Yeah, just something to help... it doesn't actually do anything.
Personally, I don't like MUTTS and don't use it... but it's not too painful for me to show others how to use it if they so wish to.
The only thing I find favourable about it is that it lists all class locations (Allocate only lists the ones the unit coordinator has bothered to type in). For instance, I know this semester that my back-to-back tutes are wonderfully nearby this semester and I'll merely have to drift from Menzies East Wing to West Wing... last semester I had to constantly leave my macro tute early so I could get across to my Jap tute on time (which was... strangely, in one of the med buildings).

Here's a print screen fyrefly

Okay, thanks a lot :)
