Like maths has completely different subjects for extension studies. I didn't know that chem was the same units as first year.

@vea
Our Unit only appeared this morning, so I'd say yours would follow soonish, as the IT subject appeared about a week ago
@m@tty
I'm not too sure, but if you look at the course guide there are our two subjects and then "introduction to chemistry" subjects, but they are the only first year subjects?

I just looked at the lecture times, and it looks like I can't fit 2021 without clashes =\ I'd have to miss 2 physics lectures, I think...
I think I'll just do 2010 + 2032

For 1st year commerce students (particularly those doing bus stats): http://vce.atarnotes.com/forum/index.php/topic,22741.msg232614.html#msg232614
(Thread title is deceptive, the post quoted is where it gets relevant to commerce.)
Edit: I just want to say to those doing AFC1000, that they've changed the course content since I did that unit (I did it in its first semester, when it was brand new and they were experimenting)... the comments related to that aren't totally relevant any more in the sense of % that is VCE Accounting content... it's now a bit less VCE and a bit more new stuff.

Since we have permission from you jaffies :P
My units:
Semester 1 2011

Finally after countless emails with Monash Staff ... I finalized my timetable
Semester 1
PHS1080 Foundation physics
ASP1010 Earth to cosmos - introductory astronomy
MTH1030 Techniques for modelling
ENG1060 Engineering computing
Semester 2
MAE1042 Introduction to aircraft structures and dynamics
PHS1022 Physics
MTH2010 Multivariable calculus
ASP1022 Life and the universe
P.S. @ Matty
MAE 1041 isn't offered in 1sem 2011. It only starts in 1sem for 2012. They said to do ENG 1060 instead of MAE 1041 in 1st year and do MAE1041 in the 2nd year
-
Ah, okay..
I thought it was an error how it said S2. The guy at the enrolment day seemed to think that we were meant to do it...
The least they could do is send an email to all first year aerospace students.. the engineering unit thing still says MAE1041/MAE1041
So I just looked and they have already sent an email - haha
And they said to do computing or engineers? hmm - It's a compulsory unit anyway.
So I suppose my new units for 2011 will look like this:
Semester 1
PHS1011 Physics
ASP1010 Earth to cosmos - introductory astronomy
MTH2010 Multivariable Calculus
ENG1060 Computing for engineers (So now I get trouble with this unit because credit for MTH1085 hasn't come though...xD)
Semester 2
MAE1042 Introduction to aircraft structures and dynamics
PHS1022 Physics
MTH2032 Differential equations with modelling
ASP1022 Life and the universe
-
PHS1011 Physics

plus the geoscience lecturer seemed really cool when i went to the info sesh for science
Haha was she the one with the speech that tried to convince everyone to do it..?
"Go down to the beach and take one last look...because after taking this class youll never look at the earth in the same way"

lol its her alright, she's the most enthusiastic one each year at info sessions, trying to get everyone to do that course
-
Haha yeah, i must admit she actually does a pretty good job of selling what could otherwise be presented as a pretty boring subject
-
sounds like a pretty interesting subject to me, which is why i'm doing it i guess haha
shes so enthusiastic!
