Which technique is best used for the analysis of very toxic substances?

Both low and high molecular mass. =P
It can vary, generally anything with > 300 is better suited to HPLC as anything with > 300 will not readily turn into gas (i.e it is not volatile) thus not suited to GC

Is there any other information?
