so this exam i guess was provided by leona :) (i copied it from your post)
anyways since i have a sac on memory i was doing the questions related and i saw the last question that is part c
has anyone given it a shot? if not will you try? i was thinking about the question but i didnt really know the answer to it.. :/
so this is it
"Vince is in his Psychology exam. He looks up at the clock and sees there is five minutes to go.
Describe and explain the ways in which the different lobes in Vince’s brain are working separately and
together as he finishes his exam. In your answer, also refer to the interaction between the hemispheres of the brain"

I tried Section C and got 8/10 from my teacher.
Organise it by dot-points, I only gave 8 points.
This Q is very broad - you should be able to find 10 points.
You can post it up here if you want me to mark it :)

lol thanks but what points did you include? i really have no idea what kind of answer this needs
and plus, are we allowed to do it in dot points? we did practice on sleep as extended response and were allowed to do it in dot point but what about the exam?

When I said I tried Section C I meant off VCAA - which is a different Q.
You're allowed dot-points - in fact, it's preferable.
In all honesty, with no offence intended but if you cannot find 5 points at least for this you have not understood AOS1 at all.

hmm i dont think your the one to tell me that... first of all marks prove otherwise and secondly, you firstly didnt mention it was vcaas question. i thought the 8/10 was in response to the question above.

Jeez, it's just Psychology.
Take whatever advice people offer you into your own consideration. Even if you do think you know what you are doing, if you are unable to answer a question then obviously you should not go all out on someone that is suggesting you may need to read up on a certain AOS.
That said, we're here to help eachother, so if anyone can answer the question directly that would probably be the best way to continue on with this thread, otherwise just leave it...

Err I can't really delete thread's on your command, you're free to post up the answer if you please to the benefit of others (not just the OP); or the OP can lock it.

I haven't done pure psych for a very long time but I will try for a few points:
Frontal lobes are obviously involved in higher mental function and reasoning, the association areas will be processing the information. Visual cortex/occipital is supplying the information from the page to the frontal lobes (I guess you could reference visual fields and perception very briefly). Temporal lobes are primarily auditory but also play a role in memory. Parietal is probably used to aid his mechanical writing ability via the somatosensory cortex and its intepretation of what he can feel etc.
Corpus callosum connects hemispheres and allows "communication" and integration of information.

Your Psych knowledge is correct - hopefully the OP can apply that.

Don't play smart with me. You deleted your post which said "delete this thread, I don't care about the answer." Too bad I didn't quote it.
Russ gave you a better answer in that you have to build it up now, I'm not going to give you my fully worked answer after your attitude.
I hope you actually learn from this experience and study Psych with the intent of applying it. ;)
