Title: Group Maths Tutor
Post by: Water on April 15, 2011, 11:17:25 pm
Guys, is it worth it? My parents want me to go, except, I don't feel the need to.... Are these "so called" group maths tutors any good whatsoever? Or is it just some socializing spree. If it is, it can go to hell. In other words, is doing trial exams > group maths tutor, or doing extended response with math methods solution better than tutor.

If it is worth it? At what price should I be paying for it?

The good thing about group maths tutors is that they teach you to analyse the question properly and the steps you should take to approach a hard question. Otherwise I find them useless since they won't have the time to answer your question

Don't worry - They don't look at your ATAR score if you're applying for "Hokage" :P

LoL, thanks guys :x, I'll try out this one for my parent's sake, but I've always found group tutors teach too slow. I'll do a 1 or 2 week trial :)
