Title: Decay theory.

Ok just going throught the strength and weaknesses of decay theory through the Cambridge textbook and the only strength I can find is that it contains logical reasoning that the passage of time produces forgetting as the memory storgage is theorised to not be permanent. I understand the weaknesses are that older memories are more easily retained then newer ones in cases, and that time is not considered to be the only factor with what we do playing a more important role.

Am I forgetting something for the strength of the theory?

haha i dont think you need more negatives, but its also based on the theory of a memory trace, which isnt proven to exist just yet..

and i dont think you need strengths, generally they'll ask you why theories are often criticised, as opposed to believed
